Our primary service

Flooring installation, done to the edges.

Vinyl plank, laminate, hardwood and tile installed with the subfloor prep, trim and transitions that decide whether a floor still looks right in five years.

Materials

What we install.

We work with the materials that hold up in Florida homes. If you already have a product in mind, bring it to the estimate visit.

Dark luxury vinyl plank flooring installed in a living room

Luxury Vinyl Plank

The workhorse. Waterproof, hard-wearing and forgiving over most existing subfloors.

Laminate wood-look flooring installed through a residential room

Laminate

Warm wood look at a lower cost per square foot. Good for bedrooms and whole-house jobs.

Dark hardwood flooring laid on a diagonal layout

Hardwood

Engineered and solid wood, including diagonal layouts and borders where the room calls for it.

Marble-look porcelain tile flooring installed in a living space

Tile

Large format porcelain and marble-look tile, set with proper prep.

Clean transition between new vinyl plank flooring and existing tile
What is in the scope

The parts nobody quotes until it is too late.

  • Removal and disposal of the existing floor covering
  • Subfloor inspection, cleaning and prep before anything is laid
  • Baseboard, shoe moulding or quarter round as the job requires
  • Transition strips and thresholds at every doorway and material change
  • Stair treads and risers finished to match, when stairs are part of the job
  • Daily cleanup and a final walkthrough before we call it done
Stairs & treads

Stairs are the job we get called back for.

Carpet comes off, solid treads and white risers go on, and the run gets tied into the floor at the top and bottom. It is slow work and it is the first thing a visitor sees.

Flooring projects

Recent floors.

How it works

From the first visit to the walkthrough.

Visit and measure

We measure, check the subfloor and look at every doorway and transition.

Written scope

Material, areas, removal, prep and trim on paper before anything is ordered.

Installation

We protect the rest of the house, install, and clean the site down each day.

Walkthrough

We walk it with you and finish the punch list before we invoice.

Flooring questions

Before you call.

It depends on what is down and what is going in. We check the existing floor and the subfloor at the estimate visit and put the answer in the written scope, so the cost of removal and disposal is not a surprise later.

Yes. Matching treads and risers to the floor is one of the most common things we are asked for, and it is the detail that makes a job look finished rather than patched.

Trim, transition strips and thresholds are part of the scope we write. A floor that stops at a ragged edge is not a finished floor.

We check the subfloor before quoting. If there is damage or a level problem, we tell you before the material is ordered rather than after the old floor comes up.

Call (561) 931-1197 and we will tell you honestly where we are booked out to. We would rather give you a real date than a convenient one.
